I’m based in sunny Riviera, Pretoria - camera in hand and ready to roll! Shoots within Gauteng come with a travel
fee of R8 per km (to the destination only), and if your love story takes us farther aeld, I travel like a pro. Flights,
hotels, rental cars? You cover the basics, and I’ll bring the magic.
Chances are high! I’ve photographed at a wide variety of dreamy spots - but if your venue’s new to me, I’ll arrive
early for a thorough scout and sleuth out the most photogenic corners like a location detective with a lens.
Bonus: I do a little online recon beforehand too. Unfortunately I do not do venue visits prior to the big day.
Absolutely! Some moments just beg for the drama of black & white - and you'll get the best of both worlds.
Editing magic takes time! Expect 10–14 days for engagement shoots and sneak peeks, and 6–8 weeks for full
wedding collections (once you’ve picked your faves). As soon as album designs are approved, they’re ready for
delivery within three weeks - fasten your seatbelt, excitement incoming.
Your high-res beauties? No watermarks, promise! I do ask that when posting on social media platforms like
Facebook and Instagram that you be kind and tag me
Where do we stand on copyright?
Great question! So, while you’ll get full rights to print and share your images far and wide - from fridge magnets to
family WhatsApps - the copyright itself stays with me, the creator. It’s not something photographers hand over
(think of it like trying to buy the secret recipe to Nando’s). But rest assured, you’ll be free to post, print, and relive
the magic whenever and wherever you like.
Can we get the raw, unedited files?
Raw files? Still a no — those are like the flour and eggs before the cake: not very tasty and definitely not
frame-ready. But here’s the twist! You can purchase unedited JPEGs of the images you didn’t select for editing.
Think of it like getting backstage passes — not the final performance, but still packed with personality. They’re
delivered as-is, straight from the camera, no glam added — perfect for those moments you want to keep in the
archives or revisit down the road.
So while the gourmet, edited goodness is the main event, you’ve got options if you’re hungry for more.
Can we peek at the outtakes?
I only toss the true bloopers: blinking eyes, rogue elbows, flash flops, and the occasional enthusiastic uncle stepping
in front of the lens. If there’s a series of you laughing with your mom and it’s pure gold? You’re getting every lovely
frame that’s not a carbon copy. The rest isn’t archived, so what you get is what was meant to be treasured - no scraps,
no second-guessing.
What’s the album vibe?
Think modern, sleek, and worthy of your coffee table - not a dusty corner of the bookshelf. Photos are printed
directly onto the pages in crisp, clean layouts that highlight every glorious moment. Minimal clutter, maximum

What’s the deal with this “online gallery”?
It’s your very own VIP photo lounge. I’ll send you a private link so you and your entire fan club (aka family and
friends) can view your gorgeous snaps anytime. Share it, frame it, cry happy tears over it - it’s all yours.
Do you offer engagement sessions?
Heck yes! I love them and include them in most packages. Weekday slots (Tuesday to Thursday) are where the magic
happens due to wedding season chaos, but now and then, a cheeky Friday–Sunday spot opens up. Most sessions are
shot around Pretoria, but if your love story wants a change of scenery, I’m game to travel. Shoot times are golden
hour fabulous — 4pm in winter, 5pm in summer. Got questions or big ideas? I’m just a message away.
How would you describe your photography style?
Think storytelling meets subtle ninja mode. I capture things as they unfold - candid, natural, and full of emotion.
I won’t stop you mid-tickle or freeze-frame your champagne toast, but I will carve out a little time for those
beautifully composed shots you’ll want to frame forever. I’m a big fan of the details too - the glittery shoes, the
half-eaten cake, the tear-streaked mascara - all the little bits that help your day live on long after the music fades.
And no awkward reception “table shots” here. I prefer snapping your guests when they’re laughing, dancing, and
properly hydrated.
Do you take posed family photos at events?
Absolutely - and I take them seriously. These are your “everyone together” gems, documenting your crew at one of
the most meaningful moments in your lives. They're timeless, and totally worth it.
Can we give you a shot list or must-capture moments?
You’re welcome to! I love a good cheat sheet. Just keep in mind that things move quickly on the day, and while I’ll
aim to tick off every photo request, I can't guarantee I’ll get every single one. Life (and weddings) can be
delightfully unpredictable.
How long have you been in business?
Since 2007 - and every wedding still gives me the same butterflies. Being trusted to document a love story or
family milestone is a true honour, and I take that responsibility with a whole lot of heart.
Can you hold a date for me?
I wish I could! But to be fair to everyone, dates are only officially yours once the deposit’s in. No pencil marks or
pinky promises - first come, first booked.
Can we pay part of the amount after the wedding?
Full payment is required before the wedding. If the schedule's got you sweating, let’s chat - I’m here to find a plan
that works for both of us.
If I cancel, is my deposit refundable?
The deposit/retainer is non-refundable because it secures your date just for you. Once we’ve signed, I turn away
other bookings for that time frame. As for refunds: 50% of your invoice is non-refundable in any cancellation scenario.
What happens if you die?
Okay, let’s start with the obvious - if I kick the bucket, I won’t be at your wedding. Sad, dramatic, and hopefully
very unlikely. BUT! If I do exit stage left permanently, Pixie’s Photography will still have your back. My husband
(with tissues in hand) and possibly some devastated-but-determined friends will step in to make sure one of my
top-notch associate shooters gets the job done beautifully.
Alright, maybe not actual death... what if you’re just really, really sick?
Here’s the deal - I take shooting your day seriously. Like, “I’d-show-up-with-a-broken-leg-before-I’d-bail” serious.
But if something genuinely major happens and I can’t be there, I’ll make sure a talented pro with my signature
style steps in. If you’re freaking out about this, reach out - I’ve got a calm contingency plan tucked in my camera bag.
When should we book you?
The second your date’s locked down, fire up the inbox! I don’t pencil people in or hold spots - it’s a first come, first
click kinda deal. Dates book faster than the buffet line, so let’s get you secured before someone else swipes your

We live far away and wish we could meet - any other options?
Totally. Most of my couples book without meeting me in real life. I’m lightning-fast on email and a total pro at
phone calls, so you’ll still get all your questions answered and confidence locked in - no passport required.
My partner gets camera-shy - help!
Good news: I don’t operate like a paparazzi. I blend in, vibe low, and shoot documentary-style magic without
turning the spotlight into a headlamp. Most clients say it feels like I’m just part of the crew - and by the time we
hit portrait time, your partner will be relaxed and even (gasp) having fun.
What if we booked an outdoor venue and it rains?
Cue the plot twist! Rain isn’t a deal-breaker - it’s a character-building moment. Some of my fave shots come with
umbrellas and muddy shoes. It’s not about the setting, it’s about *you two* and the magic between you. Unless
lightning wants a guest pass, we’ll dance through the drizzle and roll with the romance
If our wedding runs late, will you stay longer than scheduled?
Absolutely - I’m flexible, not flaky. If your party's still vibing and you want me to hang around for those extra
moments, I’ve got an overtime rate that kicks in only with your thumbs-up. No sneaky fees, no surprise invoices -
